Senior JDE Developer

As a Senior JDE  Developer, you will be responsible to design JDE application programs and/or configure the system to address business needs. Additionally, this individual will provide programming assistance of new systems and maintain and/or enhance existing systems as needed. Work independently with users or in a larger project team structure. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create functional and technical specifications for required JDE software development changes, as well as implementing these specifications. 
• Assist with design software test plans and work with users to develop and execute test cases for business process scenarios using the JDE applications. 
• Manage post-implementation support including but not limited to, troubleshooting applications, assisting users with production issues and additional end-user training as required. 
• Additional development work may include data conversions and interfaces to third-party software products. 

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• 5 years of JD Edwards software application experience with minimum version 8.0+ but prefer 9.0+
• Should have experience in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Should have experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator. 
• Attention to detail with good level problem-solving skills including situation assessment, analysis of workflows, and root cause analysis
• Utilize standard BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI to interface with JDE EnterpriseOne and create interactive dashboards for our end users
• Interact with Client and Business team on requirement gathering and project implementations
• Expertise to create and maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments, which includes Deployment Servers, configuring EnterpriseOne CNC and EnterpriseOne client servers (Citrix, Web)

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Ability to work and communicate clearly and efficiently with team members, with a strong English communication both written and spoken
• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Management Information Systems

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
